Mommy's Birthday....

We had a big weekend for Mommy's birthday. Grandma and Grandpa T. came into town, as well as Uncle Dan, Aunt Tiffany and Cousin Cole. A good time was had by all, including the Littlest Bigboy. Cole played so nicely with little Myles and it was so cute, but unfortunately we somehow didn't get any pictures of it? Fail!

All in all, I'd guess that Mommy really enjoyed her day.

Busy Boy, Busy Mommy

Myles is on the go and into everything! He wants to explore and touch everything he can find. This keeps Mommy very busy chasing after him and cleaning up his messes. He loves cords of any kind (electrical, curtain, etc.), outlets, the fireplace and fireplace tools and he especially loves air vents - they are great musical instruments you know! He gets where he wants to go very fast these days - he rolls and army crawls and it doesn't look like it will be long before he is up and crawling on his knees. Whew - then he will really be on the move!

Old and new friends...

Our old friends Kevin and Philippe came to visit this weekend, and they became new friends with Myles. Saturday was a beautiful day after the morning rain ended, and we went downtown for a great lunch at Sprizzo Gallery Cafe and then visited the park. The adults stayed up until 1:30 a.m. talking smart and emptying bottles of wine, which seemed rather foolish when Myles woke up at 6:03 a.m.



Myles took it all in stride and kicked back with his Baby Faces book - it seems to be his favorite right now.

Little Bigboy...

Myles had his 9-month medical checkup today and he is a healthy little guy. Not that little, though. He is in the 92nd percentile for weight and the 99th percentile for height. According to the chart, he is average sized for a 17-month old. He gets the exceptional weight from his daddy, but it's not clear where the height is coming from.

More sunshine...

Myles had a nice day with Mommy. After breakfast, they went to the zoo for a little while. Then, home for lunch and a nap, then playing outside, picking a few flowers and another trip to the playground. Beats a day at the office, eh? Like the new outfit?

Today was sunny and in the mid-70s, so it was a perfect day for Mommy and Myles to hang out and have a good time. On my way home from work, I saw that Mommy and Myles were at the park around the corner, so I stopped in for a few minutes to play with the Little Bigboy and chat with some neighbors. Couldn't resist taking a quick photo.
